“With the GEOMETRY series I have tried to design a series of objects that seem to be cut out of this utilitarian context. I was inspired by the undefined objects that I often see when I stroll through industrial sites. The beauty of these objects is in my opinion found in its utilitarianism, purely built to efficiently fulfil their industrial purpose while any aesthetic argument is completely absent, yet the combination of weather influence and artificial wearing and damage causes these unknown objects to have a recognizable appearance.” – Jan Janssen

About the designer:
